Gawd. That's a bland headline.
Anyway, the Columbus Dispatch reported this morning that McBride looks likely to stay put with Fulham FC over in England. Judging by the comments field, Columbus fans seem at peace with this one and for several reasons not limited to McBride's age and a willingness to let the man earn more dough in England.
McBride's age (34), happiness, and financial future aside, a semi-related article points to reasons why Crew fans should look forward to the 2007 season in spite of McBride's desire to continue with Fulham. To begin, they're going into the pre-season healthy and the draft day that allowed the club to pick up Chicago's Andy Herron offer cause for optimism that this season will, at the very least, be better than the 2006.
