There's a tease for a
auburn football "major announcement" from the LA Galaxy currently running on
MLSnet.com. Now,
MLS Underground says this will be the announcement of a partnership between the Galaxy and England's Chelsea FC, which, if I'm not mistaken, appears somewhere in the Book of Revelation...maybe it's hiding behind the Whore of Babylon...Take a look also at

Seeing as "soccer" derives from "Association football," it seems like a pretty fair name for the sport. Besides, all y'all mispronounce "aluminum" and misspell "center" and so on. But, hey, you're generally better about saying "butter" correctly.
I don't care who does or does not take U.S. soccer (ah! there's that word again!) seriously; it's what happens on the field that counts and that will be what it will.
On the Galaxy's name, ah....there I have no defense...
Hey - we don't mispronounce Aluminum...we SPELL it differently and since Sir Humphry Davy (the discoverer of said metal) created both the name Aluminum and Aluminium (as well as initially Alumium) - I guess we're both right. It's just that the US adopted one and the UK, the other.
But what's all this to do with football (the game played with a BALL that's kicked with the FOOT)?
