Gerrard goal kills fan

An old Liverpool soccer fan died after Stevie G. scored in a 2-1 win over Marseilles.

His wife wasn't there because she hates soccer and was upstairs.

Jim Carver, 77, a great-grandfather, was so thrilled when Gerrard scored that he jumped up to celebrate as he watched on television in his lounge.

He then felt light headed, fell to the ground and suffering fatal head injuries at his home in Whiston, Rotherham, the inquest heard.

At least he went happy.
