UPDATE: Detailed world cup schedule Africa 2010.

And well might you wonder how a soccer ball can be improved, given that tech nol ogy has been work ing on the issue for well over 100 years. The devil is in the detail as you’d expect, but suf fice to say that the new 14-panel design has resulted in a ball with the most con sis tent per for mance char ac ter is tics ever, enabling the play ers to show their true skills. There are fewer seams, so the ball is rounder and per forms more uni formly, regard less of where it is hit. The more per fect the sphere is, the more bal anced it will be, offer ing greater accu racy due to the pre dictabil ity of its flight. The new panel shape har mo nizes the energy dis place ment and min i mizes the amount of cor ners, while the larger pan els allow for a cleaner kick ing area. Per haps the biggest dif fer ence the play ers will find with the new balls will be how they play in the wet. Nor mally, a wet and heavy ball behaves quite dif fer ently from a dry one. It flies slower through the air, has a lower bounce and is more dif fi cult to curl. A patented Thermal Bond ing tech nol ogy makes the new ball vir tu ally water proof with identi cal per for mance char ac ter ist sics wet or dry. The FIFA Approved Stan dard for water absorp tion stip u lates no more than a 10% weight increase – the +Teamgeist’s blitzes this with less than 0.1 % weight increase. Sim i larly, it has sig nif i cantly improved on all stan dards for uni for mity of rebound and pres sure reten tion and shape and size retention.
As a trib ute to host Germany’s great est foot ball moments and its tra ditional uni forms, the adi das design team returned to tra di tional black and white as the dom i nat ing col ors for the FIFA World Cup Match Ball. The fine gold accents along the rounded pro pellers are inspired by the golden FIFA World Cup Tro phy. The rev o lu tion ary new panel shape is designed to mini mize cor ners and to cre ate a more homoge nous sys tem in terms of perfor mance and look. The radi ant lines of the graph ics sur round ing the propeller shape sym bol ize move ment and energy. Next what I expecting is improving of soccer team unforms.

2006 World Cup Jerseys

2006 World Cup Jerseys

With the greatest spectacle of the "beautiful game" coming soon, it's time to gear up with goods to support your favorite team — gear like 2006 World Cup Jerseys from Eurosport ($70). With every team from Germany to Ghana, you can grab apparel to cheer in — no matter what team you're rooting for.

Soccer team uniforms

It started in nhl and I started wandering would this be same with soccerThe question came about because the NBA, beginning next season, will let teams sell ads on their practice jerseys and is exploring allowing them on game jerseys.

I understand the economy stinks and leagues are looking for any way to give teams a financial boost. But jerseys, to me, almost always have been sacred, haven't they? We accept ads on the fire retardant suits of NASCAR drivers because we know that sport always has been sponsor driven. We don't blink when soccer jerseys don't even have the name of the team because, well, it's always been that way. But when it comes to hockey, the team name is supreme, the look of the uniform paramount.
Growing up, I even rooted for teams in all of the major sports (outside my hometown teams, of course) that had the best looks.
So let prepair for some new Soccer team uniforms look.

Word about soccer video games

EA Sports might be the king of sports and football / soccer games, but if you scour the review websites you'd notice the FIFA Soccer series doesn't fare as well with critics as other interactive soccer games such as Konami's highly polished Winning Eleven games.

The Vancouver developer must have taken this to heart because FIFA Soccer 2009packs numerous game-play additions, visual tweaks and improvements over past games. More than 250 changes were made, according to EA Sports, resulting in a realistic, responsive and feature-rich soccer simulation worth considering for "footy" fans.

Just minutes after the shrink-wrap was ripped off the Microsoft Xbox 360 version, it was clear this next-generation, high-definition soccer game had undergone an aesthetic makeover with more than 500 new animations and increased speed, now topping 60 frames per second. Gamers who played past versions will also notice the game feels tighter, too, with more responsive controls, improved kick mechanics and better player physics (including a revamped collision system).

Using the two controllers' dual analog sticks for accurate player and ball handling (and the B button to kick or head the ball), novice players can keep up with the game, but if you spend the time and effort to learn the dozens of offensive and defensive maneuvers, you will get a lot more out of the game, such as sliding tackles, crossings, fake lobs and step-overs. The artificial intelligence has also been enhanced, with teammates who move on the field like they should.
New game modes include Custom Tactics, in which you become the team's coach (and map team tactics to the controller's D-pad you can press on the fly), and a much-improved Be A Pro: Seasons option, which expands on last year's version with the ability to play four full seasons as a single player (moving up from a club player to World Cup star). You can earn experience points to spend on increasing your pro's abilities by completing match- and season-long objectives. Be A Pro: Online Team Play is also a new option, which lets you take your pro online and choose a position on the field.

If you are tired of those fancy soccer games, and discussion like this one, you can always try this free and simple soccer game called kick fusion, it is relaxing, and you will need only 1 button to play :)
