As part of my continuing policy of discussing the whole "Beckham thing" as little as possible, I'm just going to pass on Andrea Canales' look at how Beckham's new teammates on the Galaxy are reacting to his arrival.
My thoughts: They're close to school-girl giddy, with Joe Cannon's comments, in particular, intimating a kind of elation at moving to the "cool girls' table."
I'm neither criticizing nor mocking, by the way. I'm celebrating the uncontrollable excitability of the human animal when subjected to the proper stimuli.
