So, MLSnet.com reports that Clint Dempsey's move to Fulham FC has been finalized. Our little man has done grown up and moved 'cross the pond. Give them Brits the ol' Nagodoches handshake when you see 'em.* We'll always have the goal celebrations....
In related news, it appears Fox Soccer Channel failed to anticipate the successful petition for a work permit and therefore won't carry Fulham's game against West Ham United this weekend - Dempsey's potential debut with the club.
Then again, if soccertv.com has it right, lucky viewers with access to Setanta Xtra will be able to catch it.
* There is no such thing as a Nagodoches handshake of which I'm aware, unless it refers to a local's affliction with delirium tremons. Sounds dirty, though...
